The aim of this study is to examine the levels of hopelessness and submissive behaviour of the teacher candidates studying at school of Physical education and Sports according to certain variables. The study group consists of totally 302 students 207 of whom are male and 95 of whom are female studying at the departments of teaching programs at in 1th 2th 3th and 4th classes at Selçuk University, Gazi University, Kastamonu University and Ahievran University. submissive behaviourship measure Beck's hopelessness measure were both carried out randomly among the teacher candidates studying at schools of physical education and Sports who joined this study. In solution and evaluation of these data's, correlation coefficient multiplication of Pearson moments, multiple recreations analysis, "t" test, One Way Anova test were employed; and in order to define the difference between groups, P<0.05 meaningful was taken by the utilization of tukey test. As a result of this study; in the case physical and sport teacher's candidates hopelessness level is rising, it can be say their submissive attitudes are getting higher. There is a meaningful difference between submissive behaviors and class variant, income variant and father education level. There is also meaningful difference between hopeleness level and gender, class variant, income and mother educational level. (Turkish).
