The aim of the study is to examine self-esteem and anxiety level of the Cerebral Palsy adolescents with border line IQ levels. The universe of the study composed 100 subjects from the Psycho-Social service of Metin Sabancı Spastic Children Center. The sample was constructed from 28 border line IQ leveled adolescents by applying "Coopersmith Self-Esteem Scale" and "Beck Anxiety Inventory". By the results of the inventories, 16 subjects with low self-esteem and with high anxiety level were selected. The experiment and control group were formed from 16 people. In this study "Coopersmith Self-Esteem Scale" was used to examine the self- esteem and "Beck Anxiety Inventory" was used to investigate the level of anxiety. The validity and reliability of two scales were examined by various researchers. Furthermore both of the scales were used in many studies in Turkey. In this study necessary information was collected from the anamnesis of C.P. adolescents. The duration of The Group Counseling Program was lasted 10 weeks, each meeting was lasted for about 1.5 hours. According to the results of the Program, a significant difference between experiment and control group in terms of self-esteem level was observed. Although there was a decline in the anxiety level, pre and post test results was not significant.
