The topic of this study is the deviant behaviour of high school students. Therefore the aim of the thesisis to study the social, cultural and economic characteristics which are held to be responsible of the deviant behaviour of high school students. So the impacs of the family, friendship groups, mass media and school as an educational institution on the personality and individual interests of students and the existing values and by the achievement of aims have been analysed. In this thesis we made use of objective and subjective approaches and handled deviant behaviour in the frame of "social structure" and "social process" theories. Later on the study has been supported by empirical data. So the study consists of two steps. In the first step literature has been studied and in the second step an interview form has been prepared in the light of this theoretical frame in order to test the hypothesis'. Finally, our main hypothesis which is "The unsuccessfull students have deviant behaviour" is confirmed.
